The four domains

Key insights into the remarkable nature of each domain

Originally published in Gallup's ground breaking book "Strengths Based Leadership", the four domains (Influencing, Relationship building, Strategic Thinking and Executing) provide valuable insights into the core nature and orientation of each of the 34 Signature themes. Essentially, Domains are aggregations of talents that share common characteristics.

Two of the domains (Influencing and Relationship Building) are instinctively oriented towards affecting the motivational energy and cohesiveness of the group. The talents within these two domains each enable the group in a distinct manner to achieve more, together.

The remaining two domains (Strategic thinking and executing) are instinctively oriented to taking individual accountability for ensuring an efficient and effective outcome. The talents within these two domains each take individual accountability for a key aspect of delivery.
